Bruce has had 11 top forty hits and a number 1 album with Little Angels. He’s toured with Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and opened for Guns N’ Roses on their first UK shows. Bruce was a founder of the BIMM group of colleges, leaving in 2012 for the Little Angels reunion at Download Festival and UK tour. He has negotiated several university partnerships and written many validated degree courses, with thousands of undergraduates studying those courses still.

Cornell Story

I first supplied Bruce with a 45/50 Head but later made him a 50 watt Custom Head  The amp was designed so the preamp would distort Just before the output stage and when the guitar volume was up full.

To obtain a totally clean sound the guitar needed to be backed off but Bruce likes to play what is known as 'Clean on the edge of breakup'  with the guitar backed slightly off and full on to obtain overdrive. You will notice there is only one control on his guitar and this works as a gain control in conjunction with the amp.

Listen and watch Bruce discuss the Cornell Amplifiers and guitars here.

Testamonial

Studio 20 "Amazing amp. Like a Plexi but more compact mid-range and less nasal. Takes pedals really well and has all the lovely overtones. I filmed a lot of that – as notes developed the octave and fifth Brian May type harmonics. It was spectacular."

Plexi 20 "I used it in a band rehearsal,  the volume level is really usable and tone is beefy and dead clear. Again lovely harmonics and it's not too ‘gainy’. I wouldn't change anything at all."
