Björn Argen is a guitarist and founding member of the indie rock band Razorlight, formed in London in 2002. He, along with lead vocalist Johnny Borrell, bassist Carl Dalemo, and drummer Christian Smith-Pancorvo, established the band's unique sound.
Cornell Story
Denis made Bjorn a Custom head in 2012 and had not heard from him until 2024 when he asked for the amp to be serviced after 12 years of recording and touring.
Bjorn came with some old amps he also wanted servicing, so Denis took the opportunity to ask him to try my new studio 50, initially for feedback.
Bjorn liked the amp and wanted to get the singer (Johnny Borrell) to try it, so he took a Studio 50 with him.
I got an email a few days later saying he loved the amp and Johnny said "I am keeping this, it is not going back to Southend", resulting in them both now using the Cornell Studio 50.

The Voyager is a fantastic swiss army knife, the little boost switches means you can tailor the EQ curve to any type of music. It worked brilliantly for a 80s style solo I recorded for a friends music project last week! It really gave the guitar a snarling, thick edge. Again, hats off! ..and the fact that they, like all Cornells are built like tanks means guitar players will enjoy them for decades!
