Acknowledged as one of the finest musicians that the British Isles has ever produced, and with a career that dated back to the 1960s, there were few musical genres that Gary Moore had not turned his adroit musical hand to.
Gracing the line-ups of several notable rock bands, Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II and (The Original) Skid Row, in his time, he also established himself as a world-class guitarist, with few equals.
Cornell Story
Gary is shown with his Cornell Plexi combo in a photo session for 'Guitarist' magazine in 2007 and it is also seen in the rear artwork on the CD release, How Blue Can You Get, April 2021. It was used on various recording sessions for the 2008 Bad For You Baby album (Eagle Records EAGCD379). The amplifier was sold at auction for £1,657 in 2022 as part of the Gary Moore collection.

Testimonial
The Cornell Plexi 7 is a very musical amp in the sense you can greatly control the tone and harmonics with just your picking dynamics. It is also very touch sensitive.

This is probably my favourite amp I've ever owned in my life. The cool thing about this amp is the power settings. The amp has 4 power settings: 7 watts, 2 watts, 1/4 watt and 1/20th watt. In this video I had it set at 1/20th of a watt. The loudness was about like a bedroom TV and equal to normal speaking volume.
