As lead guitarist for Roxy Music, Phil Manzanera rose to global acclaim in the early 1970s, establishing himself as one of the UK’s most influential guitarists and record producers. In 2019, Roxy Music was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their place in rock history.
Voyagers 001 & 002
Ahead of Roxy Music’s 2022 arena world tour, Phil’s team approached Denis to supply the stage amplification. After auditioning a range of Cornell models, Phil selected two Cornell Voyager heads—taking serial numbers 001 and 002, the very first production models off the bench, to power his signature sound on the global stage.
Testimonial
"We wanted the Marshall 18w sound but in a head, the Cornell Amplifiers we have (serial number 001 / 002) are perfect with treble boost and edge controls."
